Westclox made several models of clocks for kids in the Wee Winkie series. They were introduced in 1965 and ended in 1973. The different models were produced in different years during that range. This is the Wee Winkie "Jumbo Alarm" which is just what it sounds like, an oversized alarm clock. It is about 10" high and the face is about 7" in diameter. It is all plastic except for the movement, which is a typical keywound Westclox alarm clock movement of the era. The top bells are decorative; the working bell is inside. It can stand on its peg legs or be hung on the wall.
Condition: The clock is clean inside and out. Time and alarm function as they should. It has a loud bell alarm. The case is clean and fairly shiny with no cracks or chips and just some very minor signs of wear. It may have been a brighter red when new but the colors are still fairly bright. The oversized plastic hands are exposed above the plastic dial and are easily knocked loose, but they can be easily reset. This is a big, cheerful clock with decorative plastic twin bells on top. If you collect Wee Winkies you know that this one doesn't come around often.

To re-set loose clock hands:
If the alarm hand is loose, also loosen the blue hour hand (if it is not already loose) by lifting up the back corners. The alarm hand is split on the back to fit on the time shaft. Press on both sides of the split and on the front (carefully, near the shaft) to press the alarm hand back into place. Then turn the hour hand to any hour, make sure the minute hand is on 12, and press the back corners of the hour hand to put it back down on the time shaft. Pull up the alarm knob and turn the alarm set around until the alarm goes off. If it is going off at a different time than shown on the hands, manually (carefully) push it around the shaft to the right time.
