Lux Cyclometer Flip Clock 1970s

Sorry, this item has sold.

Clean, crisp, classy modernist lines for the executive desk. A glossy black case with gently gleaming anodized gold satin dial face. Time knob made to look like hammered metal. Slightly angled front and concave clear dial cover for optimal viewing. High contrast white numerals on black background. This clock is NOT lighted.

The plastic case is undamaged and glossy with very minor signs of scratching. The plastic front cover is clean and clear with some small shallow scuff marks in the front center, hard to see. The beveled anodized dial front is beautiful with no damage.

The rotor is the 2350 series that Robertshaw Controls seems to have used for all of the Lux clocks of the era. This one is in beautiful working condition, clean and quiet. The movement is a simple cyclometer type. It relies on small wire coil springs for operation, which means the alignment of the number wheels is not always exact (see the photos with the 1). It makes a small audible sound when the minute changes but is otherwise quiet and reliably keeping time.

This clock measures about 6" x3" x 2-3/4".
