General Electric Black and White Lucite Electric Wall Clock 1970s

$68.00

This mod 70s clock has a square black Lucite case with raised white numerals, creating interesting effects of shadow and transparency. It is in excellent clean glossy cosmetic and functioning condition, with no chips or cracks and almost no noticeable scratching. The lens cover is clear and shiny with some very faint scuffing and a very faint circle on the inside where the second hand scraped at some point. The hands are now properly adjusted. The paper dial is perfect, as are the hands. The electric motor with S rotor is excellent, keeping time quietly with smooth operation of the red moon sweep second hand. The long vintage cord with molded plug is clean, intact and flexible.

This is one of the last generation of GE clocks made in the Ashland, Connecticut plant before Timex bought them out in 1979. This clock is about 7" square and a little over 1" deep.
